Carol Vorderman would 'mud wrestle' Susanna Reid over 'love of her life'

Carol Vorderman has offered Susanna Reid to a "mud wrestle" - however the Good Morning Britain presenter hasn't taken up the offer yet.

Taking to Instagram, the f ormer Countdown host professed her love for ITV judge Rob Rinder. But she said that there was one person who kept trying to "steal him from her".

Carol revealed that she had spent the day interviewing people for a Pride of Britain podcast that she is working on. One of her interviewees was "love of her life" Rob.

She said: "Well I'm happy to say I've had a lovely day because we've been recording lots of interviews for the Pride of Britain podcast. Do you know what, our winners on Pride of Britain are extraordinary. They are so special and I find that I am learning a lot from them and I have today.

"I also, you know, was interviewing the love of my life... Rob Rinder. Judge Rob Rinder.

"Susanna Reid keeps trying to take him away from me. I've told her I am willing to mud wrestle her for him. Which she hasn't taken me up on yet. Sadly."

Susanna, 49, and Judge Rinder, 42, made their Celebrity Gogglebox debut together last year, making their close friendship very public. Since meeting six years ago the pair have become firm friends and have enjoyed many a boozy holiday together.

The ITV favourites aim to go away at least once a year together and often keep the location of their wild adventures top-secret until they return. Rob previously said: "I love to go away with Susanna once a year. We have more plans to go away, but I won’t say where. The two of us try to keep it to ourselves - Susanna and I only go on holiday for the sex!”

Susanna also spoke of the holidays as she opened up to You! magazine in 2018. She said: "Oh, we let our hair down! That’s my four days in the year when I have no responsibilities."
