Carol Vorderman shares emotional post after son's announcement

Carol Vorderman took to social media to share an emotional post about her son, Cameron after he earned his Masters degree in Animation and VFX.

The 60-year-old media personality shared the news with her fans about how proud she is of the 24-year-old, who has severe educational learning disabilities.

The post included three photos of Carol and Cameron and she captioned it saying: “So my son Cameron grew up, stuck with it, through endless bullying (you’re thick!!!), changed school, developed strategies to learn, worked hard and eventually got a FIRST CLASS DEGREE IN ANIMATION FROM @UWEBristol last summer.

"Now he has just received A MASTERS DEGREE FROM @dundeeuni. Now he is THE MASTER and I couldn’t be more proud of him. I always knew he would make it with the right help but the mainstream system doesn’t cater well for more children with these severe learning difficulties.

"Their development curve is a different shape. They have their superpower and one day THEY find their path IF they’re guided well.”

The former Countdown host's fans were quick to comment on her post, with many of them calling Cameron “Amazing”.

One of her followers said: “Amazing! Congratulations Cameron!”

Another fan said: “That’s amazing, well done Cameron.”

And a third said: “Amazing darling.”

Scouse Ma also commented on Carol’s post, revealing her eldest child has autism. She said: “Love this! My eldest is autistic and I hope to see them do the same!”

Carol replied saying: “@scousema then you more than understand. Happy to chat about the strategies if you want.”
