Former Countdown host Carol posted a snap of herself in a bikini featuring the Welsh dragon to Instagram.

Mum-of-two Carol captioned the picture: "Maybe it's time to get this one out now that I'm home #WelshDragon #BikiniRummaging "

And it wasn't long before the 60-year-old was inundated with likes and comments from her appreciative followers.

consosilly said: "Absolutely stunning @carolvorders. Perfect."

davidm1964 said: "Wow absolutely gorgeous."

ja995320 said: "If only all Welsh dragons looked as good as you Carol."

Another said: "Carol stop lying about your age, you're obviously 35."

And alcorn247 said: "Is Carol really 60?"

This weekend Carol headed back to Wales after lockdown restrictions eased and enjoyed walking on the beach and enjoying the sunny weather.

She sent her followers into meltdown on Friday as she shared another bikini photo, with many of them saying Carol looked 20 years younger.

Carol snapped herself smiling into her phone camera wearing a two-piece bikini and sunglasses while sunbathing.

She uploaded the photo with the caption: "Happy SUN-day.....I can't wait for summer......I think it's going to be one to remember," followed by laughing, heart and ice cream emojis.

After the sun-kissed snap was uploaded to Instagram it received over 14,000 likes with nearly 1,300 comments as many people complimenting Carol on her youthful looks.
