Carol Vorderman shocked herself and fans after trying out Instagram filters for the first time ever.
The "insta naive" star claimed that she had never tried out a filter before and this was a first for her, while posting a selfie which made her look completely different.
She was in awe at how much the social media feature changed her appearance, as she tried it for herself after seeing someone younger using it - and decided to share it with fans.

The filter removed all traces of lines and age spots on the 61-year-old's face and put an odd light behind her which made her look cut out.
She captioned it: "Omg I'm shocked....this is the first time I've ever tried a filter... I had no idea it changes you like this...
"In a bit of a state of befuddlement. I'm so "insta naiive" tbh."
Musician Imelda May commented on the post, as she said: "You don’t need this filter nonsense. You’re gorgeous! X"
Carol replied back, as she said: "So weird isn't it? Genuinely shocked....I just someone young and famous who I like following using this filter so I thought...oh I'll try it....bloody hell....I had no idea it's all such complete nonsense....wow."
Fans also took to the comments to express their bewilderment at the use of filters.
