- Carol Vorderman was recently hospitalised after falling and hitting her head on tarmac outside her home, leading to unconsciousness.
- The former Countdown presenter explained in a video that she was taken to Bristol Royal Infirmary by ambulance, where staff reportedly played “The Final Countdown” during her journey.
- After being discharged, Vorderman experienced “massive vomiting, all the bad signs”, prompting a return to hospital for scans.
- She said she suffered from persistent dizziness, which was treated using the Epley technique. According to the NHS, it is used to treat Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV).
- Vorderman added: “After the first session, I would say 95% of it went. I’ve had three sessions with her and I’m now discharged. I couldn’t be happier.”
