Carol Vorderman gets patriotic as she shows off age-defying shape in Welsh rugby crop top

Carol Vorderman has shown her support for the Welsh Rugby Union with a cheeky snap.

The maths genius, 60, took to her Twitter account to demonstrate how she is a fan of the Welsh team by posing in a crop top emblazoned with the club's emblem on her chest.

Countdown star Carol - who is half Welsh through her mother's side - beamed in the offering that was captured as she sat outside her second home in Pembrokeshire whilst working on her laptop.

"Lots asking for where to get the crop top and kit from....it's from @myoddballs.....they make lovely stuff.....it's SUMMER.....YESSSSSSSSSS," she penned alongside the snap.

Carol's snap gained a lot of attention from her social media followers, with several showing their appreciation for the racy image.

Another added: "Well Carol you look absolutely gorgeous in your outfit sweetheart."

More echoed: "Wow.... I'm absolutely blown away... You look amazing x" and "What a babe !! gorgeous woman."

Last year, Carol spent two months learning Welsh and recently she delivered an entire weather segment in Welsh for Welsh television channel, S4C.

After filming the footage she shared the video on her Twitter account.

“Watch me being a weather woman today IN WELSH....been learning language for nearly 2 months now online with @aranjones @DailyWelshWords...x @S4Ctywydd @S4C #Iaith2020” she explained to fans.

She then went on to add that her Welsh weather woman debut was part of a challenge she was given, alongside other Welsh celebs, to learn the language.

To help her navigate the language she was paired up with Welsh weatherman Owain Wyn Evans and they travelled across Wales using only the Welsh language.

Carol has also told that she worked on her Welsh thanks to a platform called Say Something In Welsh run by Aran Jones.
