Carol Vorderman teared up on Good Morning Britain today following the death of Captain Sir Tom Moore.
Carol appeared on the show to speak about Captain Tom's impact on the UK, which culminated in him winning a Pride of Britain award.
The former Countdown star dressed in black to mark the sombre occasion and said how everyone had fallen in love with Captain Tom.
Carol spoke about how many children had sent him birthday cards and how much they would miss their "superhero".
Host Piers Morgan suggested that every hospital in the land should have a statue to Captain Tom outside it.
And Carol called for a stone to be placed in Westminster Abbey to commemorate him.

Becoming emotional, Carol said: "I think he deserves a stone in Westminster Abbey because I think he embodies this whole terrible pandemic which we are all living through.
"So many have lost their grandmas and their granddads, their fathers and their mothers, their sisters, their brothers, and I think he embodies that and we loved him.
"I think we have genuinely fallen in love with Captain Tom."
Piers Morgan agreed with her and said how he'd had a "very emotional" call with Captain Tom's family yesterday.
Piers said: "It was a very emotional call and it was a gut punch, I got to know him well and he was such a remarkable guy."
And many GMB viewers also shared their sadness at Captain Tom's death.
