Carol Kirkwood delivered her last BBC weather forecast on Wednesday (1 April) as she leaves the broadcaster after 28 year.
The Scottish weather presenter, 63, joined the BBC Weather Centre in 1998, before becoming BBC Breakfast’s main weather presenter in 2010.
Announcing the news in January, she said that she has “loved every minute” of her time at the organisation and that the decision to leave wasn’t an “easy one” to make.
After completing her final forecast, hosts Sally Nugent and Jon Kay thanked Kirkwood for being “perfect”.
