Cruise ship operator Carnival has sunk a little lower this morning, after sector peer Royal Caribbean's second quarter results disappointed.
Carnival was 2.3% down at £21.76.
New York-listed Royal Caribbean put its results out last night, with analysts saying the earnings had undershot the market consensus.
At lunchtime, the FTSE 100 is 43 points down, with the miners dragging down the index.
The Dow Jones is expected to open 12 points up despite the issues over the US debt talks.
