Chaotic scenes unfolded in an Ayrshire street last night after multiple vehicles were damaged in a serious crash.
Abandoned cars and debris littered Prestwick Road and one motor even ended up in a front garden after careering through a wall shortly after the smash at 7.25pm.
At least three cars were badly damaged in the Prestwick collision and police were forced to shut down the road for more than two and a half hours while an investigation and a major clean-up got underway.
In a video of the aftermath of the crash, stunned residents of the town could be seen surveying the damage in the street with police managing the scene.

Police confirmed today that one man was taken to hospital following the crash.
A force spokesman said: "We were called around 7.25pm on Friday, October 15, to a report of a crash involving two cars on Prestwick Road, Ayr. Emergency services attended and one man was taken to hospital.
“The road was closed and re-opened around 10pm.”
