Fans of chaotic car combat are getting a clearer look at what Carmageddon: Rogue Shift will actually look like. Developer 34BigThings has released a new gameplay trailer that showcases intense vehicular mayhem, brutal battles, and the roguelite twist the game is building around.
The footage arrives just weeks before the game’s February 6, 2026, launch on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC, and it gives players a taste of what this iconic franchise revival has in store.
The trailer shows the game in full action. The gameplay remains close to the classic Carmageddon chaotic vehicular destruction we all know and love. This time around, the game is also mixing in roguelite elements, so no two runs feel the same.
What The Gameplay Trailer Reveals
The latest clip highlights several of Rogue Shift’s core gameplay pillars. Combat racing remains at its heart, with vehicles ramming, boosting, and firing at rivals while racing across various tracks.
This roguelite campaign design means no two playthroughs look the same, pushing players to adapt continuously as they race and wreck through a post-apocalyptic wasteland.
In terms of content, there is a lot in store for Carmageddon fans. From 15 upgradeable vehicles and 13 weapons to 80 perks that control how you approach every run, the game is going to be packed with a lot of cool stuff to try. On top of that, you also have dynamic weather with day and night cycles and boss battles to keep things interesting. They are going heavy into the rogue-lite angle.
But the best thing that the trailer shows is the absolute carnage you can cause. From ramming cars, launching rockets at your enemies, driving through a horde of zombies, to boosting through multiple cars at once, there is a lot to destroy in the game.
Overall, the game looks promising and features a lot of content. The game is set to release on February 6 for all platforms, and we will get to experience the vehicular combat we have all been waiting for since the announcement trailer.
