Carley Stenson's arm in a sling as she posts emotional goodbye to ITV1's Dancing on Ice

Actress Carley Stenson was hit with a double whammy when she was eliminated from ITV1's Dancing on Ice on Sunday, February 26 as she also "popped out" her shoulder while skating to survive in the show. Carley came off the ice after her skate-off in pain and a medic had to be called before she was voted off the show.

Now she has appeared in an emotional video saying goodbye to Dancing on Ice, where she can be seen wearing a sling. Appearing in the clip alongside her professional dance partner Mark Hanretty, Carley thanked fans for their support.

Wiping away her tears, Carley said: "I am sorry to let people down who have been voting for us... I am, I'm really really sad, gutted. I have had an amazing time, I've had so much fun, I am just gutted it is over".

Meanwhile, Carley's skating partner Mark pointed at her and told the cameras: "Partner of dreams. Gorgeous human. A joy. Sad it's ended." Many fans commented on the post to claim that Carley was "robbed" and did not deserve to be voted out.

One said: "You were robbed in my eyes you deserved to have stayed," while another added: "You were definitely robbed. Should of been in the final for sure."

A third said: "You were robbed. Thought you were fabulous last night," as a fourth commented: "You two should have been in the final you were both amazing gutted for you both" followed by a red love heart emoji.

During the competition on Sunday, Carley and Mark found themselves in the bottom two after receiving one of the two lowest overall scores, a combination of the result of the public vote and their score from the judges. They faced The Wanted's Siva Kaneswaran and his professional partner Klabera Komini in the skate-off.

However, while performing to Stop This Flame, Carley 'popped out' her shoulder and came off the ice breathing heavily and looking like she was in pain. At end of the performance, host Holly Willoughby asked Carley if she was okay and Carley said the dance felt "painful".

Mark explained Carley's shoulder had popped out and Carley said: "It is alright, it is back in. It didn't come out out, it just popped out."
