Carlton Cole channels Celtic form as former striker mocked for skills challenge shocker

Carlton Cole had a time to forget at Celtic and the striker will feel the same way when he watches his performance back on Soccer AM.

The Englishman appeared on the show and tested himself in a notorious challenge trying to score as many goals as possible.

Cole only scored once during his time at Parkhead and he channelled that form on Saturday morning as he missed chance after chance.

The former West Ham forward retired two years ago so perhaps deserves the benefit of the doubt but Twitter was quick to throw some shade at the Hoops flop.

@Thetwitmark said: "Good to see Carlton Cole on form."

@E4Woody added: "Can't lose what you never had."

@waqcapital tweeted: 'And he was a Premier League striker."

@ForsterRourke said: "The legend still has it."

@baldobagins tweeted: "Watched it this morning haha shocking!"

Cole signed a two-year deal at Celtic in 2015 under Ronny Deila after nine seasons with the Premier League outfit, but his stay was cut short as the Parkhead side released him after just eight months.

He made only four appearances in the Hoops.
