Sam Walsh and Harry McKay played significant roles in the Blues' win, their eighth of the season.
Walsh kicked three goals and recorded 26 disposals in a performance that will only thrust him further into Bronwlow Medal contention.
McKay kicked a match-high five goals.
Carlton co-captain Patrick Cripps (one goal, 26 disposals) and Jack Silvagni (one goal, 25 disposals) were also key contributors to the Blues' win.
The match marked Charlie Curnow's AFL return, with the Blues forward celebrating the moment with a goal in his first match since 2019 after being sidelined because of injury.
Max King (four goals), Tim Membrey (three) and Cooper Sharman (two) were the only multiple goal kickers for the Saints.
