Carlos Tevez snubs Man City for Manchester United when listing career achievements

Ex-Manchester United striker Carlos Tevez had no place for Manchester City's title win when discussing the top three moments of his career but did include United's Champions League win in 2008.

Tevez caused a stir by leaving United for City and helped the Blues win their first league title in 44 years, pipping their rivals to top spot on the final day of the season in 2012.

The 36-year-old added another trophy to his collection this week by securing the Super League title in Argentina for his boyhood club Boca Juniors.

Tevez was asked where his latest achievement ranked in his illustrious career and the forward admitted it was extremely significant for him.

"It is one of the most important titles due to the circumstances," he told El Intransigente.

"I came three years ago to fight it; it was to get the head out of a well that became eternal. It was a unique night - a very big relief."

The former Argentina international placed the title win in his top three career moments alongside Boca's Intercontinental Cup win and United's Champions League success in Moscow - leaving no place for City's triumph.

He added: "It’s in the top 3 with the Intercontinental Cup in Japan and the Champions League with Manchester United."
