CHICAGO _ The White Sox must really love the visitors bullpen or else they wanted the Athletics relievers to leave with a few souvenirs.
The Sox went through one batter shy of their entire order in a five-run fifth inning, and Daniel Palka, the odd man out, crushed the second pitch he saw into the opposition pen in right field during a 10-3 win over the A's Sunday at Guaranteed Rate Field.
Two at bats later, Yolmer Sanchez followed up Palka's bullpen blast with one of his own. And Yoan Moncada added the punctuation mark with a two-run homer to _ guess where.
The three White Sox homers are the most they've had in one game since they knocked four in Detroit on May 26.
Carlos Rodon took a big step toward working his way back into form since recovering from shoulder surgery, and he probably won't quibble with giving up two runs, including Mark Canha's solo shot in the fifth.
Rodon allowed seven hits and struck out three over eight innings, matching his career high from Aug. 10 against the Astros. Up eight runs after six innings, manager Rick Renteria let Rodon press on into the eighth and he retired the side 1-2-3.
Bruce Rondon took over in the ninth. Khris Davis scored on Xavier Cedeno's wild pitch in the ninth.
