Carlo Ancelotti updates Yerry Mina recovery timeframe but confirms double Everton injury boost

Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed that both Allan and Dominic Calvert-Lewin will be fit to start for Everton when Southampton visit Goodison Park on Monday.

The Brazilian midfielder has not made an appearance since December, when he suffered a hamstring injury in the 2-0 victory away to Leicester, but was an unused substitute for Saturday's Merseyside derby victory.

Calvert-Lewin, on the other hand, did come off the bench during the win over Liverpool - but hasn't started a league match since the draw with Manchester United earlier this month.

Ancelotti told his pre-Southampton press conference: "Allan and Dominic are ok.

"They are training regularly, I think that they are available to play for sure from the beginning.

"We don't have a lot of games until the end of the season, so we have to be ready to fight for every game. Every game, as we know, is really complicated and really difficult.

"We have to be ready."

However, two players who will be out of action for the Blues on Monday are Jean-Philippe Gbamin and Yerry Mina.

The former is still recovering from a long-term absence, while the centre-back picked up a calf issue in Everton's 3-1 defeat at home to Man City earlier this month.

"Gbamin is progressing well, we don't know exactly when he can be back to train with the team," Ancelotti added.

"Yerry Mina also, I think Yerry Mina will be out for at least two weeks."
