Carlo Ancelotti told he has brought the 'feel-good factor' back to Everton as management style is also praised

Ashley Cole believes Carlo Ancelotti has brought the “feel-good factor” back to Everton less than seven months after arriving at Goodison Park.

Ancelotti took over the Blues following Marco Silva’s departure in December, and the Italian’s side are aiming for a late European push.

The 61-year-old has a mass amount of experience all across Europe - winning domestic titles in France, Germany, Italy and England.

Ancelotti also had a successful playing career, winning three Serie A titles for Roma and AC Milan, as well as twice winning the European Cup with the latter of the two.

And Cole, speaking ahead of Everton against Leicester City live on Sky Sports, believes the players will look up to and respect Ancelotti for his playing career as well as his managerial experience.

“I think already you’ve got that feel-good factor with him around,” the former Chelsea and Arsenal defender said.

“The players will look up to him and respect him, not just for him as a manager, but also what he did playing-wise.

“I feel he’s got that group together. He doesn’t tend to change his players too much if he doesn’t have to.

“I think they look solid at the back and with Calvert-Lewin up-front, he’s just causing havoc. So, yeah, I think he puts a lot of onus on the strikers, but they defend well as a group.”
