Carlo Ancelotti has set the date for Everton's players to return for the start of pre-season training.
The Blues boss wants those players who have not been involved in either the Copa America or European Championships, to return to Finch Farm for testing on Monday, July 5.
Everton have yet to reveal what their plans are for pre-season fixtures or any potential training camps away from the club's Halewood base.
Ancelotti also held a meeting with his players on Friday morning to remind them of the restrictions on foreign travel and to ensure they keep abreast of government guidelines.
“The players are aware of this from the club," Ancelotti said.
"We had a meeting about this and they have to inform the club where they want to go, and they know all the restrictions in this country. They have to be aware of this.
"The new season will start on July 5 and we want to have all the players who are not in the national team ready to start on the 5th, avoiding problems."
The Everton boss, who has not decided if he will look into returning to Italy during the break should restrictions allow, added: “If they go to a country where they have to stay in quarantine when they come back, they have to take this into consideration because the season starts on the 5th.
"If they have to stay in quarantine they have to come back to UK early."
