Carlo Ancelotti says that €150m rated Manchester United target Kalidou Koulibaly is not for sale

Napoli manager Carlo Ancelotti has reiterated that reported Manchester United transfer target Kalidou Koulibaly is not for sale in the summer transfer window, but if he was he would be worth €150m.

United are thought to be in the hunt for a brand new centre-back in the summer, with potential targets such as Real Madrid's Raphael Varane, Tottenham's Toby Alderweireld and Ajax's Matthijs de Ligt all being linked with a move to Old Trafford.

However, one name continues to be rumoured more than any other is Koulibaly's.

The Senegalese has developed into one of Europe's finest defenders in Serie A which has earned him plenty of suitors.

Koulibaly also recently changed his agent - to his brother - which is usually a tell-tale sign that a big move is on the horizon.

Manchester United 'to lose out to Premier League rival for FC Barcelona star'

Jose Mourinho was right about Manchester United but he still had to go

Despite that Ancelotti has insisted that his prized asset is not for sale.

"Koulibaly is the best centre-back in the world," the Italian said. "And he has more room for improvement.

"He is worth €150 million and he is non-transferable.

"Napoli do not need to sell, the president does not want to sell and the question does not arise."

Koulibaly himself also addressed the transfer speculation that refuses to die down.

"The future? I am a Napoli player," the 27-year-old said.

"And I will give one hundred percent to win something with this shirt.

‘The market is full of talk. I prefer facts, which then help us win and become great together.”
