Carlo Ancelotti reveals Everton moment that reminded him of Kaka

Carlo Ancelotti was full of praise for the quality of Gylfi Sigurdsson's second goal against Spurs.

The club record signing put Everton 2-1 ahead just past the hour mark at Goodison when he converted Seamus Coleman's cross with a cushioned half volley.

Richarlison had combined with Coleman, who had only just been introduced from the bench, to open up space on the right wing for the captain to deliver a cross.

But Sigurdsson still had much to do yet diverted the cross past a rooted Hugo Lloris with a cultured side foot finish.

Ancelotti was thrilled with the goal and when asked if it reminded him of the type of finish that Brazilian Kaka would score, when he managed him at AC Milan, the Blues boss said: "Quite similar.

"But Kaka scored with his right foot.

"But it was a fantastic goal. A fantastic cross and fantastic combination with Seamus Coleman who had only been on for 60 seconds. It was really good and, apart from this, the performance and decisions of Gylfi were really good."
