Carlo Ancelotti is refusing to rule out further signings on transfer deadline day.
The Everton boss spoke on Friday about how the last day of the window can bring "surprises" and, following the win over Brighton, when asked if he was targeting any other signings, apart from Norwich City defender Ben Godfey, he said: "Maybe something can come".
Ancelotti is keeping his options open ahead of the final day of the international window although as of Sunday, the Blues had no firm plans in place ahead of the 11pm deadline on Monday.
"Wait, wait. Monday is soon, Monday is coming," Ancelotti said, when asked if he expected any more new faces once Godfrey's capture was complete.
"We have to wait and see what is going on in these two days."
He added: "You will see, you will see. Maybe something can come. Some new signings are coming."
At this stage, it appears Everton's focus on deadline day will be outgoings but Ancelotti has not closed the door on doing any more business.
So far this summer, the Blues have added Niels Nkounkou, Allan, James Rodriguez and Abdoulaye Doucoure to the squad.
Seventeen-year-old Imam Jagne completed a switch from BK Hacken, in Sweden, on Sunday and joins the Academy.
Godfrey's move from Norwich City is close to being finalised.
