Carlo Ancelotti 'phones £42m rated Napoli star' and other Everton transfer rumours rated

Everton are yet to make a signing under new boss Carlo Ancelotti, and with just a few days remaining in January to get deals done ahead of the rest of the season, time is running out if they wish to do so.

But that has not stopped the gossip columns from linking the Blues with potential incomings.

Here are today's Everton transfer rumours rated.

Allan called

Who?

The 29-year-old Napoli midfielder.

Where?

TuttoMercatoWeb, via the Daily Express, claim Ancelotti phoned his former player to discuss a reunion.

What?

The ex-Vasco de Gama man could be a Blues target, but the report does state that he almost certainly won't be moving this month, with a summer deal much more likely.

PSG are also interested, but Allan is thought to be intrigued by a move to the Premier League.

Napoli are said to value the Brazilian at £42 million.

Vecino unconvinced

Who?

Matias Vecino, the Inter Milan midfielder.

Where?

FC Inter News claim that Everton are interested in a move for the 28-year-old, but he is not convinced about moving to Goodison Park.

What?

Manchester United are also reportedly interested in signing Vecino, who has scored once and assisted twice in Serie A this season.

If the Blues are interested in him, it seems other targets might need to be identified if he is not sold on making the switch.
