Carlo Ancelotti joins London-based agency amid Arsenal job link

Carlo Ancelotti has joined a London-based agency as speculation surrounding a potential move to Arsenal gathers pace.

Ancelotti was sacked by Napoli earlier this week despite steering the Italian side into the knockout stages of the Champions League.

Arsenal are still on the lookout for a permanent boss having sacked Unai Emery after a dismal start to the campaign.

Freddie Ljungberg recorded his first victory in caretaker charge as the Gunners came from behind to beat West Ham on Monday night.

Ancelotti has experience in the Premier League and won the title with Chelsea in his previous spell in the English top flight.

And he has asked the Base Soccer agency in the capital to facilitate his next move, report the Daily Mail.

The agency looks after clients including Cristiano Ronaldo , Harry Kane, James Rodriguez and Dele Alli.

Ancelotti is also on Everton's radar as they look for a permanent successor to Marco Silva, but Duncan Ferguson will take charge of a second game as caretaker boss at Old Trafford on Sunday after leading the Toffees to victory over Chelsea last week.

Former players Mikel Arteta and Patrick Vieira join Ancelotti as favourites for the vacant Arsenal role, while David Moyes has been strongly linked with a return to Goodison.
