Carlo Ancelotti insists transfers are not key to Everton improvement next season

Carlo Ancelotti says the biggest factor in turning Everton's home form around next season will not be an influx of new signings.

Instead the Blues boss believes the return of fans to Goodison Park will make the biggest difference to their fortunes in L4 where the team have picked up just 19 points from 16 games this term.

The Everton boss is currently looking to add 'two or three' players to his squad this summer with a right-back and a winger on the club's shopping list.

Ancelotti is also keen on making Robin Olsen's loam move from AS Roma a permanent deal when the market opens.

But the Blues manager says the team's form at Goodison will be mostly impacted by the return of fans.

Everton played two league games in front of 2,000 supporters in December and hope to have 10,000 fans back for the final home game of the season against Wolves next month.

“We have to improve the run at Goodison, we don’t need to sign new players, we need to have supporters back at the stadium,” Ancelotti said.
