Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed Everton are yet to receive more information from the Premier League about why their game with Manchester City was postponed on Monday.
The Blues were due to welcome Pep Guardiola to Goodison Park for their final home match of what has been an eventful 2020.
However, on Monday afternoon the Premier League confirmed that the match had been called off after five positive Covid-19 cases were identified at City.
The Goodison Park club released a statement later that night confirming that they will be requesting full disclosure at how the decision was reached, and their regret at not playing the match as scheduled.

And Ancelotti, speaking ahead of his side’s game with West Ham on New Year’s Day, is hoping the club hear something on their request for more information soon.
“No we didn’t receive it yet, the further information,” Ancelotti said. “But I think soon we are going to have this, but until now no.”
The Everton boss then continued on the timing of the announcement: "The announcement was four hours [before kick-off].
“We were at the hotel but it doesn't matter if it's early, it doesn't change the situation which was quite clear. We move forward.”
Ancelotti concluded: “The fact that we didn't play against City, we can have fresh legs against West Ham, it can be an advantage.
“The preparation for the game was good and we still have two days before the next game and I hope that we are ready.”
