Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed Napoli's stance on Nicolas Pepe and Kieran Tierney.
Lille forward Pepe is expected to complete a big money move to Arsenal in the coming days, while the Gunners remain interested in Celtic full-back Kieran Tierney.
Pepe should complete a £72million move to the Emirates, with Lille and the Gunners in advanced talks over the transfer.
Tierney has been an Arsenal target for much of the transfer window, but a £25million price tag has not yet been met, with Celtic unhappy with the structure of payments the Gunners laid out.
Both players were reportedly targets for Italian side Napoli too.
Napoli are managed by former Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti, who watched his side thrash Champions League winners Liverpool 3-0 at Murrayfield on Sunday.
And after the game Ancelotti was asked about Napoli moves for both players.
On Pepe, Ancelotti appeared to confirm that they had missed out to Arsenal for his signature.
He said, when asked about missing out on Pepe: "I'm not disappointed. I don't like to talk about players of other teams. The market is so long. We are looking. If there are opportunities, we can do it."
He also ruled out a move for Tierney.
"Am I aware of Kieran Tierney?" he said. "I know him and he is a really good player. He is a really good young left back but he is a Celtic player.
"We are looking for a lot of players for this coming season but he is a Celtic player and we have two good left-backs."
