Carlo Ancelotti confirms Everton transfer target after blunt Moise Kean message

Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed Everton are hoping to sign a winger this summer.

The ECHO revealed in April that a wide-player - as well as a right-back - would be on the priority list of Marcel Brands when the transfer market reopens and Ancelotti admitted this would be the case at his press conference on Tuesday.

The Italian said: "It is one of the positions we are looking for. Yes, it is true."

He also confirmed he would hold talks with Moise Kean after the on-loan Everton striker hinted he would like to remain at Paris Saint Germain next season.

Kean has scored 13 goals in 26 Ligue 1 appearances this season while adding a further three in the Champions League.

After he netted during the closing stages of their 4-0 win over Reims on Sunday he said he "hoped" to see Paris supporters again next season.

But Ancelotti remained firm in response, adding: "I think we have to talk about his situation.

"He is on loan. His loan finishes on June 30.

"Unless there is any request from Paris Saint Germain he will be back."
