Carlo Ancelotti confirms double Everton injury blow ahead of West Ham game

Carlo Ancelotti confirmed two injury blows for Everton ahead of their trip to face West Ham this weekend.

However, one important Blues star has been passed as fit after initially being labelled as a doubt.

The Blues will travel to the London Stadium on Saturday looking to continue a strong run of Premier League form under their new manager, winning three of their four games in the division since the arrival of the Italian.

But Everton will have to do it without one of their most in-form players in Richarlison.

Ancelotti confirmed in his pre-match press conference that the Brazilian had been ruled out with a knee issue, while Gylfi Sigurdsson would also miss this weekend's clash against the Hammers.

One positive for the Blues, however, is that Yerry Mina is available after earlier being labelled as a doubt for the match.

Ancelotti said: "Yerry Mina is available. Richarlison is out for this game, he had a little problem yesterday in training and will not be available for the game, I hope he will be available on Tuesday.

"His problem is on his knee, he had a little twist but nothing special."

The boss added: "Sigurdsson is out, the other players are all fit and in good condition.

"We are recovering Alex Iwobi, I think he can play the next game.

"Gbamin started today the first part of training with the team and Andre Gomes is doing his individual training with the physio."
