Carlo Ancelotti believes Jordan Pickford form proves Robin Olsen decision right at Everton

Carlo Ancelotti says Jordan Pickford's run of performances are proof that his rotation policy works.

Pickford has delivered impressive and assured displays in games with Liverpool, Southampton and West Bromwich Albion as Everton won three games on the spin to move fourth.

Ancelotti has promised that when Robin Olsen is fit again, he will rotate his goalkeepers again but says he will do so in order to keep Pickford "fresh".

"I think he is doing well because I rotated him," Ancelotti said after the game. "I took him out from a little bit of pressure. He is doing well now.

"Robin Olsen is injured but when he comes back he can play some games to keep Jordan fresh and be like he is in this moment now."

Richarlison scored his fourth goal in as many league games to seal a victory at the Hawthorns and Ancelotti is thrilled to have the Brazilian back in form.

"It is really important to have him back after the first part of the season where he was like he is now," Ancelotti added.

"Really important. He is a top striker and we have a couple in front who are really, really dangerous and really, really effective."
