Carlo Ancelotti's fitness coach at Everton will be Francesco Mauri.
Mauri worked with Ancelotti at Napoli, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid and now joins his backroom staff at Goodison.
Ancelotti was installed as the Blues' new boss on Saturday morning before the game with Arsenal but caretaker manager Duncan Ferguson remained in the charge for the 0-0 draw.

Ferguson will be kept on by the Italian as an assistant with the manager's son, 30-year-old Davide, also performing that role.
Alan Kelly, who stepped up from the under-23s staff, will remain as first-team goalkeeping coach under Ancelotti.
Kelly was brought to the club by David Unsworth in 2017 when he was placed in caretaker charge following the sacking of Ronald Koeman and remained as part of the coach's staff when he returned to the u-23s fold.
It has been suggested that Ancelotti will also bring in video analyst Simeone Montanaro but that is yet to be confirmed.
Ancelotti, meanwhile, visited Finch Farm for the first time on Sunday and says the facilities at the Halewood complex are perfect.
“The training ground is perfect," he said.
"I went yesterday, the training ground is really well organised and I don't have to change nothing.
"At Paris Saint Germain, it was totally different, there was no training, no restaurant and so I needed to do some things but here, everything is well organised, the players are comfortable at the training ground, everything is there, so I am really happy with this.”
