Carlo Ancelotti and Everton dealt huge injury blow ahead of visit to West Ham

Everton manager Carlo Ancelotti has revealed that centre forward Richarlison will miss out for Everton when they make their trip to London Stadium to face West Ham.

The Brazilian striker has scored eight goals in 22 appearances this season for the Toffees but is out of the game on Saturday with a minor knee problem.

Ancelotti said at his pre-match press conference at Finch Farm that the knee injury was "nothing special" and that he hopes Richarlison will be back for their game against Newcastle on Tuesday but is definitely out this weekend.

Another player ruled out for the game is midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson, as is former Arsenal winger Alex Iwobi.

There was some good news however for the visitors as centre back Yerry Mina has been passed fit for the game having previously been an injury doubt.

The Colombian centre half was linked with a move to the Hammers in the summer of 2018 before opting to head to Merseyside from Barcelona in a £28m deal sanctioned by former manager Marco Silva.

For West Ham, they have fitness concerns over Felipe Anderson and Arthur Masuaku heading into the game. Anderson damaged his ribs in a challenge with ten minutes to go of the 1-0 defeat to Sheffield United. Masuaku meanwhile has had to have some fluid drained from his knee.
