Carli Lloyd trolls Giants fans during USWNT Parade: ‘Fly Eagles Fly!

On Wednesday morning in the Canyon of Heroes, the U.S. Women’s Soccer Team was honored with a modest ticker tape parade in New York City after winning their second consecutive Women’s World Cup Finals victory in which they defeated the Netherlands 2-0.

During the celebration, the Southern Jersey-born Carli Lloyd decided to troll New York Giants fans in attendance by letting out a “Fly Eagles Fly” chant.

Per our friends over at Eagles Wire, “Fly Eagles Fly is the Eagles’ Victory Song and slogan that was written in the mid-1950s and rearranged and retitled by Bobby Mansure & Brian Saunders in 1995.”

Lloyd was initially being cheered for her victory speech, but those cheers slowly turned to playful jeers after her chant. But you have to give credit where credit is due — Lloyd took her trolling right to the dragon’s mouth.

If anything, Lloyd’s trolling shows just how brazen Eagles fans have become in the aftermath of their first-ever (and hopefully, only) Super Bowl title.
