Carli Lloyd let out a ‘Fly Eagles Fly’ after her speech during USWNT Parade

Carli Lloyd is a 2015 World Cup hero who is celebrating another World Title after the US Women’s National Team’s 2-0 victory in the Women’s World Cup final against the Netherlands on Sunday. Lloyd, 36, is contemplating retirement and walking away from the game would allow the South Jersey native to watch more of her Philadelphia Eagles.

During the USWNT parade in New York on Wednesday, Lloyd dropped a “FlyEaglesFLy” during her speech before walking off for what could have been the final time in the video courtesy of ABC 6.

Fly Eagles Fly is the Eagles’ Victory Song and slogan that was written in the mid-1950s and rearranged and retitled by Bobby Mansure & Brian Saunders in 1995.
