Carl Starfelt sends Celtic message as new boy gets fans excited with highlights

Highlight reels can make anyone look good, just ask Mo Bangura or Filip Sebo.

It's generally attacking players who share their goalscoring or fancy flicks and tricks, but this time it was Carl Starfelt who showed off what he can do.

The Celtic new boy is obviously a bit bored in isolation in London and shared a video of him making some brilliant defensive challenges and clearances.

He posted a video on Instagram where he highlighted his talents and got fans excited for a no nonsense defender who can also play a bit.

And he shared the video with a three word message for Celtic fans as he said: "See you soon."

Starfelt is one of two new signings currently in isolation with Japanese striker Kyogo Furuhashi also checking into a hotel in London to quarantine.

And it's something that has frustrated Hoops boss Ange Postecoglou who just wants to get his new boys to Celtic Park.

He said: "We’ve signed Liel Abada who came in and had a fantastic debut. We’ve signed Carl Starfelt and Kyogo Furuhashi but they’re not here at the moment, that’s the challenges of the world we live in.

"It’s frustrating and we’d love to have them here already, the others we’re working on completing a big quicker. It’s not through a lack of wanting or hard work, we’re endeavouring to get there and we’re chipping away and hopefully over the next two or three weeks we’ll benefit from it.
