Confusion surrounds Carl Starfelt as the new Celtic recruit was left out of the Europa League squad.
The Swedish defender joined the club from Russian side Rubin Kazan and due to quarantine restrictions could not play in Celtic 's Champions League tie against Midtjylland.
However, having been thrown in for his debut against Hearts on Saturday it looked certain the experienced defender would be brought in for the clash with Jablonec.
As it stands that doesn't appear to be the case with the defender not appearing on the official UEFA squad list for the game.
It means that an inexperienced backline could be deployed against the Czechs or utility man Nir Bitton could return from suspension.
An error was made by UEFA when Liel Abada was not named in the squad for the Champions League qualifier first leg by the governing body, but was in fact registered by the club.
If it is not an oversight, the club have time to amend the decision to leave out the 26-year-old before the deadline to name the side.
Kyogo Furuhashi does make the squad having made a late cameo in the Scottish Premiership opener.
Odsonne Edouard is also included in the side making any potential Parkhead exit appear unlikely in the coming days.
