Celtic are in talks with Swedish stopper Carl Starfelt over a move to Parkhead.
The 26-year-old central defender is currently playing in Russia with Rubin Kazan but is said to be close to agreeing terms over a move to the Scottish Premiership.
Starlfert started his career with IF Brommapojkarna in his homeland before earning a move to Swedish giants IFK Gothenburg.
He moved to Russia two years ago when he signed a four-year deal with Rubin Kazan but is set to move on.
And Ange Postecoglou could make a move for Starfelt, who just missed out on a place in Sweden’s Euro 2020 squad.

He has been capped three times for this country and after making his full international debut against Russia a year ago.
The Hoops are looking to strengthen in defence with Kristoffer Ajer almost certain to head for the Celtic exit door.
And Starfelt fits the bill with his experience and would bolster the Hoops squad as they look to strengthen.
