Carl Starfelt drops Celtic transfer clue as defender keeps an eye on his future teammates

Defender Carl Starfelt has dropped a major hint that his move to Celtic could be imminent on social media.

A deal has been thrashed out with Rubin Kazan for the centre-back, who is seen as a direct replacement for Brentford-bound Kristoffer Ajer.

Starfelt has agreed a long-term deal with Celtic and passed his medical in Moscow last week, but is waiting on work visa.

However, the 26-year-old is clearly keeping tabs on everything to do with the club ahead of his move.

The Swede shared a snap to his Instagram while watching the Champions League qualifier against Midtjylland.

With the £4million arrival imminent, Ange Postecoglou will be hoping to get the deal over the line ahead of the second leg.

While impressing during the Parkhead draw, Nir Bitton's red card and Ajer's departure leaves the Australian short of defensive options going into the second leg.

He will hope to have the experienced Sweden cap among his ranks for the must-win clash in Denmark.
