Carl Jenkinson has revealed all everyone at Nottingham Forest is talking about is winning promotion to the Premier League this season.
The 27-year-old defender is the Reds' latest summer signing, arriving on a three-year deal from Arsenal for an undisclosed fee.
And he has immediately set his sights on a return to the top flight with his new club, insisting that is the sole aim of everyone at the City Ground.
"I think it's going to be tough, for sure, but the club definitely has ambition," he said in his first club interview.
"That was clear when I spoke to the manager.
"I think the signings that are being made, and probably will be made, are a statement of where the club wants to be.
"It's not an easy league to get out of, but we'll definitely have a good go at it this year.
"The sole aim of everyone I have spoken to here is promotion, so that's pretty clear."
