Carl Froch lets slip that Paris Fury is pregnant hours before Tyson’s fight

Tyson Fury will seemingly be welcoming his seventh child into the world shortly as Carl Froch revealed his wife Paris is pregnant.

The news comes on the day of Fury's world heavyweight title clash with Dillian Whyte, as the undefeated champion looks to defend his WBC belt against Whyte tonight in front of 94,000 fans at Wembley.

Fury has not confirmed whether Paris is pregnant or not in the build-up to the fight. The pair welcomed their sixth child, Athena, two months before Fury knocked out Deontay Wilder in their epic trilogy clash last October.

Whilst discussing whether Fury will retire or not after his title clash with Whyte, Froch let slip that Paris is pregnant on BBC Breakfast. "He's got five or six children? I don't want to get it wrong, but he's got a lot of kids. I think Paris his wife is pregnant," he said.

"Why not sail off into the sunset, he's getting on for 35 years old. He must have made around £100milllion in his career, he's absolutely massive. He's the heavyweight king and to get himself in the shape he needs to fight at 35, it's hard work.

"He's talking about retirement and I kind of believe him. my last fight was here at Wembley, I could have boxed on and made more money. Sometimes the strategy for leaving boxing has to be right.

"A bad day at the office in boxing is potentially damaging for your health. You have to take that into perspective when you've got children. [Retiring] must be in his head, he must be thinking 'I've done my time, I'm the heavyweight king and if I retire on the back of a 94,000 crowd at Wembley Stadium, who could blame him'".

The 33-year-old got married to childhood sweetheart Paris in 2008 and they welcomed their first child, Venezuela, the following year. Fury has admitted Paris wants 10 children in total, whilst he wants to better that number by one and have 11.

Fury has insisted his clash with Whyte will be the last fight of his career, but fans have questioned the legitimacy of his comments as it's not the first time he has pondered retirement. 'The Gypsy King' pondered retirement after knocking out Wilder last year, but ultimately had a change of heart.
