Carl Frampton vs Jamel Herring weigh-in as fighters face-off ahead of world title fight

Carl Frampton and Jamel Herring hit the scales in Dubai on Friday ahead of their world title showdown.

Herring will put his WBO world super-featherweight title on the line against challenger Frampton at The Rotunda Caesars Palace Bluewater on Saturday night.

The champion weighed in at 129.4lbs for the contest, with Frampton slightly heavier at 129.9lbs.

But both men came in under the 130lbs super-featherweight limit to set up a huge world title showdown.

Frampton is bidding to become Ireland's first-ever three-weight world champion on Saturday night.

If he wins he will also become Britain's fourth boxer to achieve the feat.

Bob Fitzsimmons, Duke McKenzie and Ricky Burns are the only other three UK boxers to have won world belts in three different divisions.

iFL TV captured Friday's weigh-in on their YouTube channel - check out the footage above.
