Carl Frampton has returned to training today while he recovers from the hand injury that forced him out of his last fight.
The North Belfast boxer was due to fight in Philadelphia in August.
But, a freak hand injury in the run up forced the bout's cancellation.
In a new interview with promoters MTK Global shared on Monday, Frampton revealed that he expects to be back punching in four weeks.
He said: "It's getting better. I seen a specialist on Monday back home and he's very happy with how it's healing.
"He reckons I could be punching in four weeks time. So I've another scan in three weeks and we'll reassess after that."
He added: "I was p***** off when it happened and I was angry when it happened but I feel like I'm more determined now than ever to get straight back at it.
"I want to hit the ground running. I'm gonna start training here on Monday doing as much as I can with this hand in this shape... it hasn't been a struggle at all to start thinking about the next one.
"It's added a bit of fuel to the fire, I'm genuinely more determined now to get back in the mix and start getting involved in big fights."
