Carl Frampton's comical threat to son after meeting 'legend' David Healy

Linfield boss David Healy appears to have landed a transfer window signing who can pack a punch.

Little Rossa Frampton, 7, the son of former two-weight world boxing champion Carl, got to rub shoulders with Northern Ireland men's record goalscorer Healy at Windsor Park.

And as this photo shows, Healy appears to be getting Rossa signed up.

Frampton shared the snap on his social media, describing Healy and Rossa as "two legends".

But Frampton - who retired from boxing back in April - had a word of warning for his young son.

He joked: "Two legends in my eyes, but if he ever signs for the Blues he'll be disowned."

Frampton is a massive Crusaders fan, having grown up in Tigers Bay in North Belfast.

He has always proudly displayed his support for the Crues, wearing the club's badge on his fight shorts and once having former Seaview skipper Colin Coates part of his ring walk team.

Defending champions Linfield went top of the Irish Premiership last night with a 1-0 win over Ballymena United, while Crusaders sit 10 points adrift in fourth with a game in hand.

The Crues were due to play Glenavon on Wednesday night but the game has been postponed due to concerns over Covid-19.
