Carl Frampton's opponent has been named ahead of his ring return next month.
The 33-year-old will take on Armenian Vahram Vardanyan at the BT Sport Studios on Saturday, August 15.
Relatively unknown Vardanyan has lost just once in 23 fights but has never met anyone of Frampton's calibre in the professional ranks.
"Finally I've got my opponent," Frampton said on his YouTube channel.
"He looks wild, raw and looks like he can punch as well. So I will need to be at my best.
"He is the exact opposite style of Jamel Herring who is my main goal for the world title. But this is a fight to keep me busy and active."
Frampton added: "My objective is Jamel Herring but I can't take my eye off this boy. If he beats me he becomes a big name overnight."
Frampton will be joined by Michael Conlan on the August 15 bill.WBA and WBO Intercontinental featherweight champion Conlan will go up against the experienced Frenchman Sofiane Takoucht (35-4-1).
Takoucht, 34, has been stopped only once in his professional career and is a former IBF International champion and world title challenger.
That stoppage came against IBF featherweight champion Josh Warrington who beat Frampton in December, 2018.
The card will be shown live in the UK on BT Sport.
