Cargo plane declared emergency over Glasgow this morning

A cargo plane declared an emergency as it flew over Glasgow this morning.

Flight ABW107 declared Squawk 7600 at just after 1.30am this morning meaning it had lost communication.

It instead communicated with the tower using lights.

ABW107 is an AirBridge cargo flight. It took off from Schiphol in Amsterdam at 12.45am BST.

The plane continued on its journey westbound.
