Renaissance Care has appointed new managers with extensive experience in the health and care sectors at three of its care homes.
Jozi Stables takes charges at 20-bed Mathieson House in Edinburgh, having spent six years with Balhousie Care Group, starting as a senior carer before going on to manage the training and development programmes as support manager. She has also been project manager for Meallmore Care Homes.
Recruitment chief urges care sector to ease staff shortage by cutting red tape
Madeana Laing 46-bed Beech Manor Care Home in Blairgowrie, Perthshire. It follows a four-year stint at Balhousie’s Linden Care Home. After studying nursing at Dundee University, Laing worked in acute medicine with NHS Tayside before taking on a role as a district nurse. After starting as a staff nurse in Linden Care Home, she was promoted to deputy manager and then manager within eight months.
Dawn Gardiner comes on board at 65-bed Jesmond Care Home in Aberdeen. She studied nursing at Robert Gordon University and took on a role in Dr Gray’s Hospital in Elgin before going on to work in a minor injuries department. She joined Balhousie Care Group in 2017 as deputy manager before quickly being promoted to manager in 2018.
