Cardinals WR Damiere Byrd unlikely to play for 2nd week in a row

The Arizona Cardinals are expected to be down two of its top receivers on Sunday when they take on the Cincinnati Bengals on the road. Receiver Christian Kirk suffered an ankle injury and is unlikely to play. They also likely will be without Damiere Byrd as well.

Coach Kliff Kingsbury told reporters before practice on Wednesday the hamstring that kept him out of the game last weekend is still bothering him.

Byrd played the third-highest number of snaps among Cardinals receivers in the team’s first three games. He has 12 catches for 96 yards this season.

With Byrd and Kirk both unlikely to play, the Cardinals will have five receivers able to play.
