In Week 2, the Arizona Cardinals had 60 offensive snaps against the Baltimore Ravens. Let’s take a look at how the playing time was divided up and what we can take away from the snap counts.
Quarterback

Kyler Murray, 60
If every game is like this, it is a good sign. The backup quarterback usually only gets into a game if the starter gets hurt or if it is a terrible blowout.
Running back

David Johnson, 36; Chase Edmonds, 24
The Cardinals had a running back in the game for every snap. They only ever had one running back in the game. Edmonds played that many snaps because Johnson exited to have his wrist looked at.
Wide receiver

Larry Fitzgerald, 57; Damiere Byrd, 56; Christian Kirk, 56; Michael Crabtree, 19; KeeSean Johnson, 19; Trent Sherfield, 4
It would appear that it will be Johnson’s playing time that goes down with the increase of playing time for Crabtree. Byrd continues to play a lot. Sherfield gets only a handful of offensive snaps a game.
Tight end

Charles Clay, 15; Maxx Williams, 14
The tight ends get snaps but not many. Each had one reception in the game as well.
Offensive line

All starters, 60; no other lineman played
Unlike the season opener, the Cardinals did not bring in extra linemen for jumbo packages. Mason Cole did not get any snaps except on special teams.
