The Arizona Cardinals played 68 offensive snaps in their 31-24 season-ending loss to the Los Angeles Rams. Let’s see how the playing time was divided up and what it could mean.
Quarterback

Kyler Murray, 63; Brett Hundley, 5
Murray came out after he was knocked down and hit his funny bone. Hundley finished the drive and led the team to a touchdown. Murray returned.
Running back

Kenyan Drake, 65; Chase Edmonds, 4
Edmonds and Drake were together on the field once, but it was the Kenyan Drake show, as it has been for weeks. David Johnson didn’t even get to play a single snap, signaling his likely departure from the team in 2020.
Wide receiver

Christian Kirk, 67; Larry Fitzgerald, 59; Damiere Byrd, 49; Pharoh Cooper, 22; Andy Isabella, 1
Isabella’s lack of playing time will remain a question to think about all offseason. The question now is whether the Cardinals will bring back Byrd or Cooper for 2020.
Tight end

Maxx Williams, 41; Dan Arnold, 31
The Cardinals only had two active tight ends, so they could not get anyone else playing time. Offensive lineman Mason Cole played some as a jumbo tight end.
Offensive line

D.J. Humphries, 68; Justin Murray, 68; A.Q. Shipley, 68; J.R. Sweezy, 59; Justin Pugh, 56; Mason Cole, 23
Cole again played 22 snaps on the offensive line to get some reps at both guard positions. He had one play line up wide as an eligible receiver.
