The Arizona Cardinals played 69 offensive snaps on Sunday in their 36-26 loss to the San Francisco 49ers. Let’s see how the playing time was divided up and what we can learn from it.
Quarterback

Kyler Murray, 69
As he has done all but one game this season, he plays every snap. he has been very durable so far in his young career.
Running back

Kenyan Drake, 61; David Johnson, 9
There was one play in which both running backs were on the field. As has been discussed in another article, Johnson did not play in the second half and did not even get a single touch or target on offense.
Wide receivers

Christian Kirk, 68; Larry Fitzgerald, 55; KeeSean Johnson, 23; Andy Isabella, 20; Trent Sherfield, 4
Kirk only was off the field one play. Damiere Byrd was inactive again, which corresponds with the increased playing time for Isabella. Isabella and Johnson take turns playing outside.
Tight ends

Charles Clay, 48; Maxx Williams, 38; Darrell Daniels, 1
Daniels had a catch in his only snap. This is the first week in many in which Clay and Williams didn’t play almost an equal number of snaps.
Offensive line

D.J. Humphries, 69; Justin Pugh, 69; A.Q. Shipley, 69; Justin Murray, 69; J.R. Sweezy, 66; Mason Cole, 3
Sweezy left the game for three plays. They were his first missed snaps all season. Murray played every snap in his first game back from his knee injury.
